Providing automatic transcription services have associated recurring maintenance tasks on our side that are not directly tied to the transcription process. We could have added these costs to the hourly charge which would have driven up the hourly costs (and may be made us more money in the process), but we wanted to keep as low an hourly cost as possible and instead have our pricing model be close to how we incur computing and operational costs on our side. This model in fact provides you and us the most beneficial cost structure.
